METAL CHURCH Singer Posts New Solo Track

January 1, 2008

METAL CHURCH singer Ronny Munroe has posted the following message on his MySpace page:

"I was fooling around [a couple of nights ago] in Vegas at OddsOn Studios. I recorded a demo of a song of mine called 'Ride Me'. There will be two versions of this song and I will leave it up to the fans to choose which one they like the best. This first version I worked with my friend and guitar player for my solo project, Rick Van Zandt. The next version I worked with my good friend Dennis Turner.

"Try this one on for size for a while then I will post the next version so you can tell me what you think."

Munroe has been recording material for new solo project with his former ROTTWEILLER bandmates Rick Van Zandt on guitar, Izzy Rehaume on bass and Doug Marapodi on drums along with Q-5/TKO/NIGHTSHADE guitarist Rick Pierce.

The singer played a New Year's gig in Las Vegas, Nevada with a backing band consisting of musicians from the Utah-based progressive/power metal act KATAGORY V. The set reportedly included songs from METAL CHURCH, Munroe's upcoming solo CD, ROTTWEILLER, KATAGORY V and more.

Stated Ronny: "I wanted to ring in the New Year with good friends and good fans that are friends and we did just that. I am humbled at the distance so many of you traveled to come see me.

"I want to give a huge thank you to the guys of KATAGORY V! They had a short time to learn the songs and being the pros and amazing musicians they are they pulled it off."
